We’re headed to the outer planets of the Milky Way in this next installment of my magical girl branding series, and there’s no better place to start than with Sailor Uranus, aka HOT-ruka.

From flying helicopters to racing cars and laying a big wet one on Usagi knowing full well destiny paired her with Mamoru, she’s a daring figure. So naturally, I had to channel that unmatched energy into a brand that celebrates her power and fearlessness.


Introducing: URWORLD Xtreme Sports Group

URWORLD is an extreme sports brand dedicated to empowering women and girls to break barriers in extreme sports traditionally dominated by men like motocross, skydiving and snowboarding.


A Brand That Cuts Through Gender-Based Expectations

  • A logo representing the reach and impact of the URWORLD across the globe using a circular tire mark.
  • Powerful visuals spotlighting women and girls who are fierce, fearless, and fly.
  • Taglines that nod to Sailor Uranus’s “World Shaking” attack and allude to women and girls running the world:
