Venus Ocean Gems: A Jewelry Brand Inspired by Sailor Venus's Passion for Love
Sailor Venus Is a Girls’ Girl
Although every Sailor Guardian wants to see other women win, Venus would thrive knowing she helped someone say *yes* to the big question. That’s why I dreamed up Venus Ocean Gems—a high-end jewelry boutique brand where love, lore, and confidence collide.
Introducing Venus Ocean Gems
This brand reflects everything Sailor Venus embodies—romance, agency, emotional depth—with a little help of mythological references to the goddess of love Aphrodite. Here are some of the highlights:
- Logo Versatility
- The versatility of the logo is perfect for packaging, store fronts and digital marketing assets.
- Design Influences: Love, Lore & The Sea
- Key illustrations of sirens, cupid and knights pulled into a modern design system give vintage storybook romance energy.
Designed for All Gazes
The visual applications don’t simply focus on the jewelry like traditional jewelry brands do. they focus on who is wearing the jewelry and what role they play in their love story. In some of the designs, you see a lone heroine (shoutout to Sailor V) and in others you’re just one page turn away from happily ever after.
Narrative-Driven Messaging
This brand is selling that not only love, but self-love has power. Moonies, do you remember Sailor Venus’s origin episode? She was a girl who loved deeply, faced rejection, and still showed up for the world. And Venus Ocean Gems encouraging women to show up for themselves.

Spotlight Drop: The “Armor” Collection
Did you know that Sailor Venus is a sword master? What would be Venus Ocean Gem’s first major collection called “Armor” is an ode to her wielding the Sword of the Silver Crystal and her Venus Wink Chain Sword attack.
When it comes to collabs, I could really see a partnership with Selkie. Besides a selkie being a mythological creature that dwells in the ocean, Selkie’s language is romance and a “knight in shining armor theme” would make for the most compelling fantasy-inspired campaign.
While many brands would lean on fashion creators to help promote this drop, I would pitch a partnership with musical artists like Wisp and SAILORR. After all, all great fairytales have beautiful music. Am I right?
