Yep—I’m talking about you, boo. 🫵🏾 We’re headed to the outer planets of the Milky Way in this next installment of my magical girl branding series, and there’s no better place to start than with Sailor Uranus, aka HOT-ruka. From flying helicopters to racing cars and laying a big wet one on Usagi knowing full well destiny paired her with Mamoru, she’s a daring figure. So naturally, I had to channel that unmatched energy into a brand that celebrates her power and fearlessness. Run Like Hell: A Run Club Inspired by Turbo Granny Okay, so Turbo Granny isn’t a magical girl. But we stan an active bystander—protecting young girls from pdfiles. Even if it meant taking a few dongs in the process. 🤗🍌 When I thought about what kind of brand Turbo Granny would front, I immediately thought RUN CLUB. Yes it is a literal take on her yokai abilities but it’s not just any run club. TURBO-G Run Club is orderly chaos packed with adrenaline-fueled experiences. You shouldn’t be limited to the confines of a diet, a weight goal or unrealistic expectations.  Running should set you and your demons free. Why a run club? I imagined a club with a gritty, unhinged aesthetic that mirrors her movement in the anime—appearing in a blur and always leaving chaos in her wake.
